Ragi porridge

Ragi is Undoubtedly the best food u can offer to your baby.It provides him with essential iron and calcium. No wonder down south it is prevalent in many homes.

It is easy and fast to cook.


  • First procure the ground ragi flour preferably organic from a reliable store. I use the 24 mantra brand Ragi.

  • Take 3-4 tbsp of ragi and mix it with water till no lumps remain.
  • Mix equal qty of milk and water to form a smooth solution.
  • Add a bit of jaggery preferably organic for taste.
  • Put the vessel on low heat
  • Keep stirring the solution so that no lumps are formed.
  • After a while the mix will become silky and thick.
  • Switch it off and offer to your baby.
